Catastrophe Claims
To Our Policyholders:
ARI is committed to providing you with excellent service. In order to make sure that we can deliver this service we want to make sure that you know how to contact us even in the event of a catastrophe.
A catastrophe situation is an event that produces multiple losses in an area or over several areas, i.e. a hurricane, flood, or hail storm. In the event of a disaster, we may provide a link on our home page with any additional instructions for you.

To report a claim, please call 1-800-820-4506. If you experience difficulty getting through, try our alternate number, 1-609-882-7500 or report your claim with our Online Claim Form, via fax at 1-609-882-4088 or report your claim to your agent.

To expedite your report of a catastrophe claim please have the following information handy:
- The ARI policy number and policyholder name
- The date, time, location and nature of the loss
- The make, model and year of your car and the nature of the damage
- Information about anyone who was injured
- Names and contact information of those involved
- Your complete contact information, including work, home and cellular numbers to ensure that a claims person can contact you
We have the ability to quickly establish remote catastrophe claims offices and set up drive-in locations that will allow us the opportunity to inspect a large number of vehicles in a short period of time if necessary.
- What happens after my claim is reported?
We will contact you and begin the claim process. The claim process begins the moment you report your claim. Our ability to inspect your vehicle depends on your location, the catastrophe’s impact on local road conditions, and our ability to deploy local resources. We will make our best effort to see your vehicle as soon as possible. We may also give you the option of having the vehicle repaired at one of our approved repair facilities, or you may have the vehicle repaired at the shop of your choice with an approved estimate. These options will depend on the extent of the catastrophe. If you have rental reimbursement coverage on your policy, we will attempt to arrange for vehicle rental on your behalf, subject to availability.
- How long will it take to complete my claim?
While the length of service depends on many factors, our goal is to settle your claim as quickly as possible.
