Where
we started
At ARI, we are proud of our roots. Our Company's history goes back
to 1879 through Farmers Reliance Insurance Company, later known
as American Reliance Insurance Company. Agents familiar with these
names will recall our outstanding reputation for servicing customers
and agents alike. We have honored this heritage by building a financially
sound organization dedicated to providing the highest level of service
to your commercial automobile customers.

we are today
ARI is one of the ten largest commercial automobile carriers in
New Jersey represented by over 130 independent agents. We offer
agents direct access to our management team - decision makers with
the authority to work with you and approve creative solutions for
your clients. ARI has assembled a staff of outstanding professionals,
bringing together extensive experience in all disciplines of the
business. And at ARI not only are our people easy to work with,
